Help if you are self isolating .......

Help is at hand .......

We are still offering help to those who are needing to self-isolate. So if you need assistance with shopping, collecting prescriptions and support during lockdown, please call us on 01435 873888 and leave a message, someone will give you a call back.
Please note the helpline won't be picked up at weekends.
If you find yourself self-isolating and need our help you can:
  • Call 01435 873888, this is an answerphone so please leave -
  1. your name,
  2. telephone number
  3. full address
  4. What you need help with
Someone will get back to you as soon as possible. If you do not have the cash, do not worry, our volunteer will be reimbursed by MAYFACS in the interim and we will keep a record of what you owe. We urge you on NO ACCOUNT to give a bank or credit card to a volunteer and ask them to get cash for you. Our volunteers will not take a card from you.
Volunteers will leave items on your doorstep and ring your doorbell and wait, from a distance, until you have collected your items.
To avoid confusion, if you have rung MAYFACS, please do not then duplicate by asking a neighbour.

Requesting groceries

When requesting groceries please consider making a list which will cover your essentials for the week. This will help to minimise a volunteer going out twice in one week to collect items for you.

If you've requested one of our face masks, information/advice can be found in this pdf
