It is a reliable, friendly service and modestly priced. See the transport page for more details.

Toddler Group

Our group has started and each week it has been extremely busy with lots of parents and grandparents coming together to meet, share experiences and enjoy refreshments. We run the group during term time on Wednesday mornings between 9am - 11am in the Scout Hall. It is open to all and is a fun, inviting and welcoming group where your child can play on ride ons, build with our construction sets, do puzzles, read books and much more. We have a break during the morning to sing nursery rhymes with picture cards and then finish up with a bit more playing.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Life Stories

We are in full swing with the new project. The interviews will be coming to an end shortly and then the pupils have the difficult task of editing their work ready to be turned into a book. The two groups of pupils - Mayfield School and Heathfield Community College - will come together in the summer with their older participants to celebrate the project and present their published book. They will each get to keep a copy which is not only a huge achievement for the student but also a precious keepsake of memories for the older participant.

There have been many special bonds and friendships forged from the previous projects and we are sure this will continue. Please see the relevant page to see how the previous participants have enjoyed this project.

Tea Dance - Lindy Hop

Everyone had a fantastic time at our tea dance on the 8th of February. The Lindy Hop dance was very popular and got everyone involved, learning new dance moves and meeting new people. The cakes and sandwiches were a welcome treat and we raised some much needed money for our charity in the process, approximately £300.
