Thanks to everyone who came along and supported our Anniversary Gala on 12th June, and huge thanks to our sponsors of the evening, including Mercator Digital, Middle House, Alsop & Walker, Fine Wines of Mayfield, Henners, Lakedown Brewing, Mayfield Gin, Mousehall, Temper Temper, The Pished Fish and Tilsmore Wines. Total funds raised are still to be added up, but our incredible auction raised an amazing sum of money! We are incredibly grateful to all the companies who donated auction prizes to us as well. Our 10th Anniversary celebrations have now come to a close – it’s been a busy few months but every aspect of our celebrations have been a huge privilege to share with you all.
We have been hard at work raising much needed funds and these anniversary events have really helped us to do that. Total funds raised are still being totalled (at the time of print) we have raised over £9,500 across all of our anniversary events.
We are really hoping to raise £10, 000 for our 10th Anniversary so any further donations would be gratefully received. Thank you! (via our donate button on our website or via the office).
We started with our Anniversary Gala event at The Middle House, where we raised over £7000 for MAYFACS and our work in the community. Thank you to everyone involved in organising, sponsoring, performing, attending and donating on the night. Excited to release our Anniversary Gala Video see our website www.mayfacs.org.uk/10years
We then launched our Anniversary Raffle and our Art Auction – these ran for the whole of July, building bids, selling tickets at all our activities, these finished at the end of the month Thank you to all our incredible artists who donated their work to raise money for us, and also the donors of the Raffle prizes, also thanks to our bidders and purchasers!
Our final celebration event was our Summer Garden Party – with over 140 guests it was an opportunity to welcome along our volunteers, supporters, networks, donors, and friends to come together as a thank you for their role in our charity. Thank you to the Marshalls for the use of their stunning grounds, and to the volunteers at Thakeham who helped at the event, allowing our MAYFACS volunteers to be able to relax and enjoy the celebrations! A HUGE thanks to the wonderful MAYZING for opening the event, to Applause Touring and to our visiting ponies.
All funds raised during our 10 year celebrations go towards supporting the work of MAYFACS within our community and every pound raised really makes a huge difference to ensuring MAYFACS is around for another 10 years!
