Launched in January 2026, our Bereavement Cafe is a welcoming, informal space where people who have experienced loss, can come together to talk, listen and share their experiences of grief.

It’s not a counselling session, but rather a monthly supportive community gathering facilitated by our trained volunteers. Our aim is to help reduce loneliness and encourage open conversations about loss and healing.

This is a joint venture between MAYFACS and our friends at another local charity, RSM in Rotherfield. 

As such the cafe will be held alternately between Mayfield and Rotherfield.

The cafe will be held on the last Friday of the month from 30th January 2026, between 10am and midday.
